A Free Youth Program for Christian Schools and Sunday SchoolsWe are thrilled to announce the launch of Ju-Te Young Warriors: The Gentle Hand of Christ — a brand-new, completely free youth program offered by Ju-Te Gentle Hand Christian Warrior Martial Arts. Voluntary donations are gratefully accepted to help expand the ministry and provide materials for more children and churches. At Ju-Te, we believe every child can learn to move with grace, protect with wisdom, and live with Christ-like strength. Instead of teaching kids to “fight,” this program teaches them to walk in stillness and strength — protecting the innocent, staying calm under pressure, and using minimal force only when necessary. It brings the core philosophy of the Gentle Hand (relaxation, ethical restraint, and “Turn the other cheek” as true mastery) to life in a fun, safe, and spiritually formative way for children.Core Verse (Repeated in Every Session)
— Psalm 46:10
This verse is the heartbeat of every class. Children learn that true power begins with stillness in Christ.Who It’s For
- Little Warriors (Ages 6–9) – 45-minute sessions filled with play-based learning and fun animal-form games.
- Rising Warriors (Ages 10–13) – 60-minute sessions with more technical skill-building and thoughtful discussion.
- Teen Warriors (Ages 14–18) – 60–75-minute sessions focused on leadership, mentoring, and real-world application.
All sessions are co-ed but can be split by age for safety and developmental appropriateness. Modified and seated versions are available for children with special needs or mobility considerations. What Kids Will GainPhysical Development
Better coordination, balance, posture, and relaxed movement through daily silk-reeling warm-ups. Safe, age-appropriate self-protection skills — with no sparring or striking pads.Safety Training
Situational awareness (“see the danger before it sees you”), de-escalation techniques, healthy boundary-setting, and how to protect self and others using minimal force and maximum wisdom.Christian Ethics & “Turn the Other Cheek”
“Turn the other cheek” is taught as strategic mastery, not weakness. Children learn self-control over ego and anger, and how to use strength only to protect the innocent — never to bully or show off.Biblical Integration
Every session ties directly to a Bible parable or story, showing how Jesus Himself modeled the Gentle Hand — calm in the storm, compassionate yet powerful, protecting the vulnerable without vengeance.Weekly Session Structure (60-minute example)

How This Feeds Into the Full Ju-Te PathwayChildren who complete the Young Warriors program move naturally into the regular Ju-Te Foundations Curriculum (6th Kyu) at age 12–14. Teens who reach 1st Kyu are invited into the private Volume study groups. The program builds character and discipline so students are spiritually and physically ready for the advanced Inner-Circle three-volume training. Why This Works Beautifully in Christian Schools & Sunday Schools
- Aligns perfectly with character education and spiritual formation goals
- Uses joyful movement to make Bible stories come alive
- Parents love the safety focus combined with strong faith integration
- Schools can count it as PE credit or after-school enrichment
- Creates a natural pipeline for youth to become future Ju-Te instructors and leaders
